Place is so chill with a laid back vibe. Erica our server gave exceptional customer service. I dont know why this place aint busy as heck! The food is bomb... the braised short ribs is fall off the bone, and my favorite was the lady bug fried chicken. So tender and crunchy!!
This is a small little Hawaiian/Japanese restaurant with delicious food. We had the teriyaki mixed plate (chicken, beef, and salmon), Spam musubi, and the spicy tuna 1/2 roll. The vibe is Hawaiian with thatched wallpaper, Hawaiian pictures, and a surfboard. The people are pleasant, there is a massive parking lot in the back, and the food is good.
Great place!! Came in wanting a authentic plate and the server recommended the miso Butterfield. It was perfect. Couldn't finish it all as the portion was big. It was delicious. Thank you!
Love this place. My go to dish is the Lau Lau (pork & Black Cod)! Can't go wrong with anything here, love the Pork Karsu Curry Rice as well. Great service and quality food.
Ladybug Grill is another Favorite Restaurant, everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. This is another local spot serving up the Aloha spirit in every plate of Hawaiian Dishes. The staff are friendly and make you feel like Ohana, you’ll forget you need to leave after your meal. There is plenty of parking and they usually have live music on the weekends. Breakfast is served all day and plenty of plate lunch and dinner entrees to choose from. Come in and see Kayley for awesome service, then come back the next day for more
The miso butterfish from Ladybug is my favorite. They give you 2 nice pieces of fish rather than just 1 like the other places in the Gardena area. The marinade on the fish is great as well. Even though Ladybug has been around for over 15 years(not at this location), I feel that this place is a hidden gem.
Came for dinner and left so stuffed. The portions are huge and so flavorful!! Amazing service thank you so much! I got the kahlua pork and the crunch roll, not pictured is my bf chicken katsu/ lb fried chicken combo that was so good
Plenty of parking in the back, and our first time here since it has changed to Ladybug, and the inside looks the same. I ordered the pork/cod fish Lau Lau and hubby got Bob’s omelette + pancakes! Let me tell you - these portions are so generous and so huge! We didn’t even eat half of what we ordered. The food was good, but my fave was probably the pancakes. The Lau Lau was a bit dry, oh and they also gave me a side of lomi lomi salmon which was a bit too salty for me. In the end, we got our Hawaiian food fix and a bunch of leftovers that we demolished later on that day. Service was great and love the old HI vibes here. They’re moving soon to the old Loft location on Artesia, so find them there soon.
